The Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), has introduced an e-invoicing and e-valuation system to enhance tax compliance, curb revenue leakages, and improve business operations in Nigeria.
Speaking at a stakeholders’ meeting, FIRS Coordinating Director, Amina Ado, described the initiative as a game-changer for transparency and efficiency in tax administration.
The pilot phase will begin with large taxpayers, integrating electronic reporting and POS systems for seamless tax monitoring.
Developed by D’Accubin Technology Limited, the system aligns with global standards, ensuring automated invoicing and tax processing.
FIRS has pledged full support for a smooth transition.
