The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA), is embedding entrepreneurship education in public secondary schools to prepare students for self-reliance and job creation.
At the opening of a two-day training for vice principals, Dr. Danlami Hayyo, Mandate Secretary of the FCTA Education Secretariat, emphasized the need to move beyond theoretical learning to hands-on, skills-driven education.
The initiative aims to transform schools into hubs of innovation, equipping students with critical thinking and business skills.
The program, supported by Brunel University and the FCT-BRUNEL Innovation Team, includes partnerships with industries and financial institutions to expose students to real-world entrepreneurial opportunities.
