The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has announced that several completed projects will be commissioned in May to mark President Bola Tinubu’s second anniversary in office.
During an inspection of the 30.4km A2-Pai and Pai-Gomani road projects in Kwali Area Council, Wike expressed satisfaction with the progress, commending contractors for their quality of work.
He emphasized that project contracts are awarded based on competence, not sentiment.
Wike also noted that the ongoing Pai-Gomani section has completed 12km of earthwork and urged its completion before the rainy season.
He highlighted the project’s impact on local agrarian communities and praised the cooperation of stakeholders in ensuring its success.
