Members of ECWA Wuse II, Abuja, are demanding the immediate removal of their senior pastor, Rev. Nashon Azaki, over allegations of sexual misconduct, including attempted rape and solicitation of sex from a female employee.

The aggrieved members claim to have evidence and have petitioned the ECWA Headquarters in Jos, urging urgent intervention to protect the church’s reputation.

They have also threatened legal action if the leadership fails to act.

The crisis escalated on Sunday, February 2, 2025, when over 20 armed policemen were reportedly deployed to the church premises to protect the pastor during service.

Despite the allegations, Rev. Azaki remains in office and continues to perform pastoral duties.

In his defense, Azaki has denied the accusations, insisting they are false and already addressed by the church.

However, the protesting members remain firm in their demand for his immediate suspension and accountability.
