President Bola Tinubu has lauded former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, on his 65th birthday, commending his significant contributions to Nigeria’s governance and democratic development.
In a statement released on Sunday, Tinubu highlighted El-Rufai’s roles as a founding member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), and his instrumental efforts in the party’s electoral successes in 2015, 2019, and 2023.
The President also acknowledged El-Rufai’s tenure as Director-General of the Bureau of Public Enterprises, Minister of the Federal
Capital Territory, and his eight-year service as Kaduna State Governor.
Tinubu praised El-Rufai’s dedication to mentoring younger generations and his unwavering commitment to national service, wishing him continued health and strength.
