The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), has dismissed claims in a viral video alleging that its petrol burns faster than fuel from Dangote Refinery.
In a statement on Saturday, NNPCL described the allegations as false and misleading, noting that the video lacked scientific credibility.
The company clarified that much of the fuel sold at its Lagos stations comes from Dangote Refinery, which meets strict quality standards.
NNPCL condemned the video as an attempt to mislead the public and vowed legal action against those spreading misinformation.
It reaffirmed its commitment to delivering high-quality fuel in line with global standards.
