Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), has expelled Goddy-Mbakwe Chimamaka Precious for assaulting a lecturer from the Department of Theatre and Film Studies.
In a statement on Friday, Acting Registrar Victor Modebelu confirmed that the decision followed a report from the Student Disciplinary Committee, which found her guilty of gross misconduct, violating Regulation 4 of the Students Disciplinary Regulations.
The Acting Vice-Chancellor approved her expulsion, ordering her immediate departure from the university and the return of any school property in her possession.
The incident, reportedly linked to an attempt to record a dance video, has sparked widespread reactions online.
