President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, for the 38th African Union (AU), Summit, where African leaders will address security challenges, economic policies, and reparatory justice.
Welcomed by top officials, including Nigeria’s Foreign Affairs Minister Yusuf Tuggar, Tinubu was briefed on key diplomatic wins, including Nigeria’s re-election to the AU Peace and Security Council and Bankole Adeoye’s reappointment as AU Commissioner for Political Affairs, Peace, and Security.
The summit, themed “Justice for Africans and People of African Descent Through Reparations,” will feature Tinubu’s address on conflict resolution, health financing, and climate change. He is expected to return to Abuja on February 17.
