Former Anambra State Governor and Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has reiterated his commitment to education, healthcare, and empowerment as key pillars of national development.
Speaking after a visit to Mater Misericordiae College of Nursing Sciences, Afikpo, Obi praised the institution’s role in training healthcare professionals since 1946. He pledged support for its ongoing infrastructural upgrades and donated ₦10 million to aid student training.
Obi emphasized the critical role of healthcare in human development, commended medical professionals for their service, and lauded the Ebonyi State Government for supporting healthcare education.
