NECO Releases 2024 SSCE External Results, Reports Drop in Malpractice Cases

The National Examinations Council (NECO) has released the 2024 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) External results, with a 27.7% drop in malpractice cases.

Announcing the results on Friday in Minna, NECO Registrar, Prof. Dantani Ibrahim Wushishi, disclosed that 84,799 candidates sat for the exam, with 67.35% securing at least five credits, including English and Mathematics.

He noted that malpractice cases fell from 8,518 in 2023 to 6,160 in 2024, leading to the blacklisting of seven supervisors and 14 centers for aiding infractions.

Candidates can check their results on the NECO website using their registration number.
