Femi Fani-Kayode has thrown his support behind National Security Adviser (NSA), Nuhu Ribadu over his outburst against Canada following the visa denial of Nigeria’s military chiefs.
In a post on X, Fani-Kayode praised Ribadu for standing up to foreign nations that “treat Nigerians with contempt,” calling Canada’s action disrespectful.
He declared that Nigeria “has paid her dues and must be treated with respect,” adding that the days of foreign governments “kicking us in the teeth” are over.
Ribadu had earlier condemned the Canadian Embassy for denying visas to the Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, and other top officers, stating that Canada could “go to hell.”
