The Canadian High Commission in Nigeria has acknowledged reports of visa denials for senior Nigerian military officials, including Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa.

While some delegates received visas, others were refused entry.

In a statement on Friday, the Commission cited privacy concerns, stating, “We are aware of media reports related to planned travel by senior officials.

However, for privacy reasons, we are unable to comment on the status of specific visa applications.”
