1,000 IDPs Get Food, Medical Aid in Abuja

Livebridge Properties and Investment Limited marked Valentine’s Day by providing food and medical aid to over 1,000 internally displaced persons (IDPs), at the Karamajiji camp in Abuja.

The company’s CEO, Nwaneri Obinna Flaker, emphasized the need for corporate support in assisting vulnerable communities, stating that Livebridge has adopted the camp as part of its corporate social responsibility.

Beyond food distribution, beneficiaries received medical checkups and essential supplies, including mobility aids for those in need.

Director Faith Nwaneri Obinna stressed the importance of women’s empowerment in poverty reduction, urging the government to invest in skill acquisition programs.

Livebridge’s Head of Operations, Alice Ejembi, noted that similar initiatives have been carried out in other IDP camps, reinforcing the company’s commitment to humanitarian support.

Beneficiaries expressed deep appreciation for the assistance.
