Nigeria was plunged into darkness on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, following the first national grid collapse of the year.
The Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company confirmed the outage at 11:34 a.m., stating that restoration efforts were underway with key stakeholders.
This comes after a troubling 12 grid collapses in 2024, raising concerns over the country’s power stability.
