The construction of modern bus and taxi terminals in Abuja is nearing completion, with the Mabushi and Kugbo terminals at 92% and 85% completion, respectively, while the Central Business Area terminal stands at 50%.
Project Manager of Planet Projects, Rasheed Soladoye, confirmed that the Central Business Area terminal faced initial delays due to site-related challenges but is now progressing smoothly.
The terminals in Mabushi and Kugbo are set for commissioning by the end of February, while the Central Business Area terminal is expected to be completed by May.
Each terminal will feature passenger waiting areas, public address systems, cinemas, and ATM galleries.
The project has also provided employment for over 3,000 FCT residents.
