Emirates Airlines has signed an interline agreement with Nigerian carrier Air Peace, expanding travel options for passengers flying to and from Nigeria.
The partnership, announced on February 11, 2025, extends Emirates’ network to 13 additional Nigerian cities through seamless connections.
With this agreement, travelers flying from Dubai to Lagos can now connect effortlessly to domestic destinations such as Asaba, Akure, Benin City, Calabar, Enugu, Ilorin, Kaduna, Owerri, Kano, Uyo, Port Harcourt, Warri, and Abuja using a single ticket and streamlined baggage handling.
In a joint statement, Adnan Kazim, Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer of Emirates, and Mrs. Oluwatoyin Olajide, Chief Operating Officer of Air Peace, highlighted the deal’s significance.
They emphasized that the partnership will not only enhance travel convenience but also benefit business and leisure travelers by improving connectivity within Nigeria.
Kazim noted that the agreement reinforces Emirates’ commitment to strengthening Nigeria-UAE trade and tourism ties, while Olajide described it as a pivotal step in expanding Air Peace’s international reach.
She added that the initiative will boost economic opportunities and solidify Nigeria’s position as a key aviation hub in Africa.
This collaboration is expected to enhance efficiency in Nigeria’s aviation sector, improve global access for Nigerian travelers, and drive further economic and tourism growth.
