The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has welcomed his wife, Olori Ashley Ogunwusi, and their son, Prince Ademakinwa, to the palace in Ife, Osun State, after five months.
A grand homecoming ceremony was held on Friday, attended by traditional rulers, dignitaries, and well-wishers.
Prince Ademakinwa was born on September 3, 2024, at Princess Royal Hospital in London. Announcing his birth, the Ooni described him as a “Crown Prince from both parents’ royal lineages.”
Olori Ashley also reflected on past challenges, revealing she had a miscarriage of twins in 2023 but expressed gratitude for the birth of their son.
She married the Ooni as his fourth wife in October 2022.
