The Ogun State Government has condemned hip-hop star Portable for allegedly assaulting planning officials at his bar in Iyana Ilogbo, Ota.
The incident saw Portable, who is currently on the run, obstructing and attacking officials from the Ogun State Planning and Development Permit Authority (OGPDPA) while they carried out their duties.
Nine of his associates have been arraigned on charges, including assault and obstruction, with bail set at N5 million each.
Governor Dapo Abiodun slammed Portable’s actions, calling him a “serial dissident” and reaffirming his commitment to uphold law and order in the state.
