Suspected bandits have kidnapped former NYSC Director-General, Major General Mahrazu Tsiga (retired), along with several residents of Tsiga village, Kankara LGA, Katsina State.
The attack occurred Wednesday night when gunmen stormed the community and raided Tsiga’s residence.
Witnesses said the heavily armed assailants abducted multiple victims before fleeing.
The incident has intensified security concerns in Katsina, a state grappling with banditry and kidnappings.
Authorities are yet to issue an official statement.
