A fatal accident on the Agaie-Lapai road in Niger State has claimed four lives and left 13 others injured.
The crash, which occurred on Monday, involved a head-on collision between three trailer trucks, reportedly caused by excessive speeding and a failed overtaking attempt.
The accident also resulted in the deaths of 15 cows and 20 goats being transported in one of the trucks.
The Director General of the Niger State Emergency Management Agency (NSEMA), Abdullahi Baba-Arah, confirmed the incident, stating that emergency responders were deployed to the scene.
Two victims died instantly, while two others succumbed to their injuries at the hospital. The injured are receiving treatment at Agaie General Hospital.
