Former Deputy National Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Olabode George, has warned that the party is heading for disaster in 2027 unless it unites and holds accountable those undermining its stability.

Speaking in Lagos on Friday, George condemned the recent invasion of the PDP National Secretariat by thugs, calling it “despicable, horrific, inhuman, and wicked.”

He decried the disruption of the party’s 79th Board of Trustees (BoT) meeting, urging party elders to intervene before the crisis escalates.

“We must bury personal ambitions and stop this self-inflicted crisis before it destroys the PDP,” he cautioned.

On national issues, George criticized President Bola Tinubu’s economic policies, stating that Nigerians are “hungry and angry.”

He urged Tinubu to take urgent action to alleviate hardship, warning that economic instability could worsen Nigeria’s challenges amid growing political tensions in West Africa.
