Ethan Nwaneri was named Player of the Match after scoring a stunning winner in Arsenal’s 2-1 comeback victory over Girona on matchday 8 of the UEFA Champions League.
At just 17 years and 314 days, Nwaneri became the second-youngest Englishman to score in the competition, behind Jude Bellingham.
Arnaut Danjuma put Girona ahead before Jorginho equalized from the spot. Nwaneri sealed the win with a brilliant curling effort.
Arsenal finished third in the league phase and advanced to the round of 16.
