A Max Air Boeing 737 flight from Lagos crash-landed at Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport on Tuesday at 10:57 p.m.

According to a passenger who confirmed the incident, the aircraft lost its nose landing gear tire upon touchdown.

“Immediately after landing, the tire burst and caught fire, causing the aircraft to skid to a halt on the runway,” the passenger, who requested anonymity, told reporters.

All passengers were safely evacuated, with no reported injuries.
