The National Board for Technical Education (NBTE), and the Nigerian Defense Academy (NDA), have launched a one-week intensive training on compressed natural gas (CNG), conversion in Kaduna.

The training, aimed at equipping Nigerians with the skills to transition to CNG as a safer, cheaper alternative to petrol, aligns with President Bola Tinubu’s vision for sustainable energy solutions.

NBTE Secretary, Professor Idris Bugaje, emphasized the importance of bridging the skill gap for CNG vehicle conversion, while NDA Provost, Professor Isah Garba, highlighted the safety and cost benefits of CNG.

The program, benefiting 50 participants from diverse sectors, marks a significant step toward energy self-reliance and economic empowerment.
