A Federal Capital Territory High Court has adjourned the N110 billion fraud case against former Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, to April 3 and 24.

Justice Maryann Anenih announced the adjournment after the prosecution, led by Kemi Pinheiro (SAN), called its first witness, Fabian Nworah, a property developer.

The defense, however, raised concerns over missing witness statements, arguing it hindered fair trial preparations.

Despite lengthy procedural arguments, the court directed the prosecution to proceed, with Nworah testifying about a disputed property transaction linked to the case.
