Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), President, Ibrahim Gusau, has expressed confidence in the Super Eagles’ chances at the upcoming AFCON 2025 tournament. Reacting to the Group C draw, which placed Nigeria alongside Tunisia, Uganda, and Tanzania, Gusau described it as fair and assured fans of the team’s readiness.
“It’s a favorable group, and I’m optimistic we will top it,” Gusau stated, citing the team’s recent strong performances and progress under the current coaching staff.
Gusau emphasized the importance of thorough preparation and teamwork, pledging that the NFF will provide full support to ensure the team’s success.
“We will do everything necessary to prepare the Super Eagles adequately. We are confident they will make Nigeria proud,” he said.
The Super Eagles, who finished as runners-up in the last AFCON in Côte d’Ivoire, are aiming to claim their fourth title and end a 12-year drought.
With the tournament approaching, Nigerian football fans eagerly anticipate the team’s journey to reclaiming African football glory.
