Nigeria’s Eniola Bolaji, a Paralympic bronze medalist, secured gold at the Egypt Para Badminton International 2025 on Sunday, capping off an outstanding performance.
In the women’s SL3 final, Bolaji defeated Sweden’s Hillevi Salomonsson 2-0 (21-1, 21-2), showcasing her dominance in the sport.
Bolaji’s victory in Egypt extends her remarkable winning streak, having won all 10 of her matches in the tournament.
She also remains undefeated in the last 10 international championships, with an impressive 58 wins out of 64 matches.
This victory adds to Bolaji’s list of accolades, including becoming the first African athlete to win a badminton medal at the Paralympic Games in 2024.
As she prepares for future competitions, Bolaji continues to inspire athletes across Africa.
