Guinness Nigeria Plc has announced its unaudited financial results for the six months ended December 31, 2024, highlighting a remarkable 82.2% revenue growth from ₦142.60 billion in H1 2024 to ₦259.60 billion in H1 2025.

The company’s gross profit rose by 28.4% to ₦59.01 billion, up from ₦45.94 billion in the prior period, despite inflationary pressures and increased production costs.

However, operating profit declined to ₦11.26 billion from ₦16.40 billion, reflecting higher cost of sales.

Notably, Guinness Nigeria reduced its net loss to ₦302.7 million, a significant improvement from the ₦5.23 billion net loss in H1 2024.

Board Chair, Dr. Omobola Johnson, commended the company’s resilience, stating, “These results highlight our strategy’s strength and our ability to adapt to evolving macroeconomic challenges. Despite headwinds, we achieved substantial revenue growth and significantly reduced losses.”

Managing Director Girish Sharma attributed the performance to agility, strategic priorities, and effective portfolio and geographic expansion.

“The 82.2% revenue growth demonstrates our focus on long-term value creation, operational excellence, and innovation,” Sharma said.

Guinness Nigeria remains committed to stakeholder engagement, operational efficiency, and driving growth in Nigeria’s FMCG sector, positioning itself as a symbol of resilience and transformation in the business landscape.
