The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN), has assured Nigerians there is no cause for alarm over the recent increase in premium motor spirit (PMS), prices.

Speaking in Ibadan on Monday at the inauguration of the Ultra-Modern Secretariat of IPMAN Western Zone, National President Abubakar Shettima reaffirmed the association’s commitment to serving the masses.

Shettima emphasized that IPMAN members remain dedicated to selling PMS at the most affordable rates and dismissed rumors of further price hikes.

He assured the public that independent marketers are resolute in ensuring the availability of petroleum products at fair prices.

While congratulating Dele Tajudeen, Zonal Chairman of IPMAN Western Zone, and the National Executive Committee on the secretariat’s inauguration, Shettima commended their achievement as a first-of-its-kind project in the country.

Aminu AbdulKadri, Chairman of IPMAN’s Board of Trustees, lauded the Western Zone for its exemplary leadership and urged other zones to emulate their accomplishments.

In his remarks, Tajudeen expressed gratitude for the peaceful state of the zone, attributing its stability to the efforts of past administrations and members.

He also highlighted the strong collaboration between IPMAN and the Petroleum Tankers Drivers of NUPENG, particularly within the Western Zonal Council.

With IPMAN’s reassurance, Nigerians can remain confident in the association’s efforts to maintain stable and affordable PMS prices despite the recent increase.
