Presidency Names NPF Most Improved Service Delivery Parastatal of 2024

The Nigeria Police Force (NPF), has been recognized as the Most Improved Service Delivery Parastatal for 2024 by the Presidency, marking a significant milestone in the Force’s reform efforts.

Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, received the prestigious award on January 14, 2025, from the National Coordinator/CEO of SERVICOM, Mrs. Nnena Akajemeli, at a ceremony in Abuja. Akajemeli praised the NPF’s strides in enhancing service delivery, particularly through the creation of a customer service work plan aimed at improving public trust and engagement.
Speaking at the event, IGP Egbetokun expressed gratitude for the recognition, emphasizing that the award validates the dedication and professionalism of officers striving to enhance policing standards.
He reiterated the Force’s commitment to sustaining and improving service efficiency, pledging to ensure a more responsive, accountable, and citizen-friendly police force.
The IGP also urged Nigerians to continue partnering with the police by remaining vigilant and reporting suspicious activities to enhance national security.
The award reinforces the NPF’s ongoing transformation efforts, positioning the Force as a more service-oriented institution committed to the safety and well-being of all Nigerians.
