Boko Haram Kills Dozens in Borno

Suspected Boko Haram insurgents have killed at least 40 farmers in Kayakura village, Kukawa Local Government Area of Borno State, with many others still missing.
The attack occurred around 5 p.m. on Sunday when the militants stormed the farming community, opening fire on unsuspecting residents.
Witnesses recounted the chaos as farmers fled for their lives, while several others were abducted.
Borno State Commissioner for Information and Internal Security, Usman Tar, confirmed the attack, calling on security forces to track down the assailants.
Governor Babagana Umara Zulum condemned the killings and assured that efforts to locate the missing and bring the perpetrators to justice were underway.
Meanwhile, the Multinational Joint Task Force recently eliminated 15 terrorists in a clearance operation in the Kukawa area.
