Napoli is reportedly furious over Victor Osimhen’s decision to reject a move to Manchester United.
The Premier League club had been keen on signing the Nigerian striker to bolster their attack this January.
Sources indicate that Manchester United were eager to secure Osimhen, who has been in outstanding form for Napoli this season.
However, the forward has opted to remain with the Italian side, turning down the chance to join the Red Devils.
Napoli’s management, expecting Osimhen to push for the transfer, is said to be frustrated by his decision.
The club was open to offers, but his refusal to leave has disrupted their plans.
Osimhen’s commitment is a major boost for Napoli, who are in contention for the Serie A title.
His goals and physical presence remain crucial to their campaign.
Meanwhile, Manchester United must now seek alternatives, as their inconsistency continues to pose challenges.
With the January transfer window nearing its close, the club faces mounting pressure to reinforce Ruben Amorim’s squad.
