Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed has reshuffled his cabinet, relieving five commissioners of their duties in a move aimed at revitalizing governance and improving service delivery.

The governor’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mukhtar Gidado, announced the changes on Tuesday, noting that the reshuffle is part of a broader strategy to inject fresh perspectives into the administration and strengthen its capacity to address emerging challenges.

The dismissed commissioners are Jamila Dahiru (Education), Abdulhameed Bununu (Internal Security and Home Affairs), Usman Danturaki (Information and Communication), Madugu Yalams (Agriculture), and Yakubu Ibrahim (Religious Affairs and Societal Reorientation).

Governor Mohammed expressed appreciation for their contributions and acknowledged their role in advancing his administration’s policies.

The governor has submitted the names of five nominees for confirmation by the Bauchi State House of Assembly to replace the sacked commissioners.

Gidado reaffirmed the governor’s commitment to fulfilling his promises, assuring Bauchi residents that the government remains focused on development and improving citizens’ welfare.
