Chelsea legend Petr Cech has backed his compatriot, Antonin Kinsky, to succeed at Tottenham Hotspur following his £12.5 million move from Slavia Prague.

The 21-year-old goalkeeper is expected to challenge Fraser Forster and Brandon Austin for the starting role in the coming weeks.

Speaking to The Playbook House, Cech praised Kinsky’s talent and adaptability, dismissing concerns about his age.

“In the Premier League, players as young as 17 make an impact. For Antonin, it will all depend on his performance,” Cech said.

He added, “Tottenham is a historic club that regularly competes in the UEFA Champions League. Their playing style suits him, and the coach values goalkeepers comfortable with the ball at their feet—one of his key strengths.”

Kinsky’s arrival at Spurs marks a pivotal step in his career, with many eager to see how he adapts to one of football’s toughest leagues.
