Operatives of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Police Command have recovered an abandoned Toyota Prado Land Cruiser in Abuja.
The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Josephine Adeh, stated on Friday that the vehicle was found on December 31, 2024, during a routine patrol along David Ejoor Street, opposite Adisa Estate, Apo-Gudu.
She noted that the SUV had no registration number.
A search of the vehicle yielded a silver-colored eagle insignia, video/audio cables, and a car stereo remote.
Further inspection revealed that the sticker displaying the engine and chassis numbers near the driver’s door had been removed, and the windscreen appeared recently replaced.
The vehicle has been towed to the FCT Police Command Headquarters in Garki II.
The police urged anyone with a missing vehicle matching the description to visit the command for verification and possible recovery.
