The Catholic Archbishop of Abuja, His Grace, Most Rev. Ignatius Kaigama, has called for peace, unity, and youth engagement among members of the Jukun-Kona Association, Abuja Branch, during their annual meeting held at Our Lady Queen of Nigeria, Pro Cathedral, Garki-Abuja.

Addressing the gathering, Archbishop Kaigama commended the association’s growth and urged affluent members to support their community actively.

He encouraged the establishment of a youth wing to foster development and urged young people to avoid social vices, emphasizing their potential for greatness.

Rev. Fr. Peter Kamai, the association’s Spiritual Director, echoed the Archbishop’s call for unity and appealed to members to prioritize meeting attendance as a platform for mutual support and collaboration.

Chairman of the Abuja Branch, Mr. James B. Awoshiri, highlighted his achievements in fostering inclusivity and announced plans to honor Archbishop Kaigama while showcasing the branch’s progress.

Former Jalingo Local Government Chairman, Ali Sani Kona, advised youths to embrace entrepreneurship and hard work instead of relying on white-collar jobs or resorting to drugs.
