Osun 2025: Governor Adeleke Signs ₦427.8 Billion Budget into Law

Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State has signed the 2025 Appropriation Bill, valued at ₦427.8 billion, into law.

The signing ceremony, held on Monday at the Governor’s Office, was attended by members of the State Executive Council and the legislature.

Tagged the “Budget of Sustainable Growth and Transformation,” the 2025 budget focuses on driving development across the state.

Governor Adeleke commended the State House of Assembly and his cabinet for their collaboration in finalizing the document.

“We are here to reaffirm our commitment to advancing the growth and development of our dear state.

“I direct all ministries, agencies, and departments to ensure rigorous implementation for the benefit of our citizens.

“Our quarterly budget performance must remain commendable,” Adeleke said.

The governor tasked the Ministry of Economic Planning, Budget, and Development with overseeing the budget’s implementation to meet its objectives.

The State Assembly had increased the initial ₦390 billion proposal by ₦37 billion before its passage.

Governor Adeleke assured residents of full implementation to achieve sustainable growth and transformation.
