Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has described the political crisis with his predecessor, Nyesom Wike, as a pivotal experience that strengthened his leadership.
Speaking at the Christmas Ballad hosted by former Governor Peter Odili in Port Harcourt, Fubara revealed that the challenges deepened his resilience and broadened his perspective on leadership.
Fubara credited God as the source of his strength, acknowledging the support from the people of Rivers State.
“My strength is drawn from every one of you who is here. You gave me encouragement, did the work, and made the calls for me.
“So, why wouldn’t I stand up for you?” he said, emphasizing his commitment to the people.
The governor promised continuous progress, lauding the determination of state leaders who resisted pressures and stood firm against tyranny during difficult times.
