Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has appointed Oluwatoyin Taiwo as his Chief of Staff, effective December 18, 2024.
The announcement was made by the governor’s Special Adviser on Media and Strategy, Kayode Akinmade, and formalized with the presentation of a letter of appointment on Wednesday.
Taiwo, who previously served as Deputy Chief of Staff, was commended by Governor Abiodun for his dedication and competence, with the governor describing the appointment as well-deserved.
Taiwo, an accomplished academic, holds a B.Sc in Statistics from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, and advanced degrees, including a PhD.
He had earlier served as Commissioner for Culture and Tourism during Governor Abiodun’s first term before becoming Deputy Chief of Staff.
