Dangote Petroleum Refinery has reduced the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), to ₦899.50 per litre, providing Nigerians with a much-needed relief ahead of the holiday season.
The new price, effective immediately, marks a significant reduction from the previous ₦970 per litre set on November 24.
In a statement, Anthony Chiejina, the Group Chief Branding and Communications Officer of Dangote Group, also introduced a special offer for customers.
Those purchasing fuel on a cash basis will receive an additional litre on credit, backed by a bank guarantee from Access Bank, First Bank, or Zenith Bank.
Chiejina explained that the initiative was aimed at easing transport costs during the festive period and expressed appreciation for Nigerians’ continued support.
He reiterated the refinery’s commitment to delivering high-quality, environmentally friendly fuel while eliminating the nation’s reliance on substandard imports that have raised health and environmental concerns.
With a production capacity of 650,000 barrels per day, Dangote Refinery is the world’s largest single-train refinery, poised to meet Nigeria’s full refined petroleum needs and export surplus fuel.
