Ebonyi State Governor, Francis Nwifuru, has announced a N150,000 Christmas bonus for all state civil servants in recognition of their dedication and commitment.
The announcement was made during a state banquet in honor of British Deputy High Commissioner to Nigeria, Gill Lever, at the Government House in Abakaliki.
The governor expressed gratitude for the workers’ understanding during the recent strike and their continued dedication to service.
He also directed that the bonus be paid to all workers by Tuesday, December 17, 2024.
This initiative aims to boost morale and acknowledge the workers’ contributions to the state’s development.
