Brazil’s President Stable After Brain Surgery

Brazil’s President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva has been certified stable after undergoing a brain surgery by the Syrian-Lebanese Hospital in São Paulo announced on Tuesday.

The Brazilian President’s brain hemorrhage was caused by a recent fall.

The hospital confirmed that the procedure, carried out on Monday night, was successful and without complications.

President Lula is currently in the intensive care unit, where he is “doing well and under monitoring,” according to a statement shared on his official Instagram account.
