Barrister Gloria Mabeiam Ballason, CEO of House of Justice, has called on the Nigerian Army to adopt a fresh approach to addressing the persistent issues of banditry and insecurity plaguing the country.
Speaking during a courtesy visit to Major General Ochekpe Okolo, General Officer Commanding (GOC) 1 Division of the Nigerian Army, Ballason highlighted the importance of strategic reassessment in combating insecurity.
The visit was part of activities leading up to the 9th Annual House of Justice Summit & Banquet.
With the theme “Security, Justice, and National Re-Orientation,” the summit aims to tackle the root causes of insecurity and explore sustainable solutions.
Ballason expressed optimism that collaborative efforts involving the military, legal experts, and civil society would drive meaningful reforms for peace and stability in Nigeria.
The summit will convene key stakeholders to deliberate on security strategies and the pivotal role of justice in fostering national harmony and resilience.
