Victor Osimhen has expressed his desire to help Galatasaray win the UEFA Europa League title.
The Turkish Super Lig champions extended their unbeaten streak in the competition with a 1-1 draw against Dutch side AZ Alkmaar on Thursday.
Osimhen scored for Okan Buruk’s team, bringing his tally to three goals in the last two Europa League matches.
After the game, the Nigerian striker made a bold promise: “I said I would score a goal, and I did. I make another promise: I will bring the UEFA cup to Turkey.”
Reflecting on the match, Osimhen said, “It feels good to score. We left with one point, and we’ll continue. We may be a little tired mentally after a game just four days ago, but our team’s performance was good. We remain unbeaten in Europe.”
