Described as a cutting-edge facility, the Data Center is poised to centralize and revolutionize environmental health data management across the nation.

It boasts real-time monitoring, early warning systems, and integrated data access to support policy-making, research, and evidence-based decisions.

“This center embodies our commitment to environmental health, sustainability, and national development,” Lawal remarked during the launch, emphasizing its potential to drive innovation and collaboration with international partners.

The minister urged collective action, calling on government agencies, private organizations, civil society, and citizens to leverage the facility for a unified push towards environmental sustainability.

The EHCON Data Center is expected to bolster Nigeria’s capacity to tackle pressing environmental challenges, providing a robust platform for informed decision-making and fostering a healthier, sustainable future for all.
