Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has reinstated the Edo State Security Network (ESN), lifting the suspension imposed in September 2024.
The suspension had been ordered by the Inspector General of Police to ensure election security.
With the successful completion of the gubernatorial election, the Edo State Government has decided to restore the ESN to strengthen public safety.
Returning officers are now required to report to the State Corps Commander or zonal offices across the state.
The government reaffirmed its commitment to safeguarding citizens.
