President Bola Tinubu has appointed Jamiu Abiola, son of the late MKO Abiola, as Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Linguistics and Foreign Affairs.
The appointment, which took effect on November 14, was announced in a statement by Segun Imohiosen, Director of Information and Public Relations in the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.
Before this new role, Jamiu Abiola served as Special Assistant to the President on Special Duties in the Office of the Vice President.
His appointment aligns with the provisions of the Certain Political and Judicial Office Holders (Salaries and Allowances, etc.) Act 2008, as amended.
In his new role, President Tinubu has tasked Abiola with collaborating closely with the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs, leveraging his expertise to enhance Nigeria’s foreign relations.
This appointment reflects the President’s commitment to strengthening the country’s diplomatic outreach and multilingual initiatives.
