President Bola Tinubu has embarked on a crucial three-day state visit to France, following an invitation from French President Emmanuel Macron.

The visit, beginning Wednesday, is set to deepen political, economic, and cultural relations between Nigeria and France.

The discussions will focus on expanding collaboration in agriculture, security, education, health, youth employment, innovation, and energy transition.

President Tinubu, accompanied by his wife, Sen. Oluremi Tinubu, will be warmly welcomed on Thursday at historic sites like Les Invalides and the Palais de l’Élysée by President Macron and his wife, Brigitte.

The two leaders will engage in high-level talks aimed at enhancing youth development, with an emphasis on automation, entrepreneurship, and leadership, as well as exploring opportunities in finance, trade, and solid minerals.

The visit will also highlight Nigeria’s First Lady’s Renewed Hope Initiative, empowering women and vulnerable groups, with discussions alongside Mrs. Macron.

The trip will conclude with a state dinner, marking a new chapter in the two nations’ strong partnership.
