The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), has been plunged into mourning following the sudden death of Dr. Monday Bitrus Adze, Chairman of the Youth Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria (YOWICAN).
Dr. Adze, a respected veterinarian and a tireless advocate for youth empowerment, passed away unexpectedly, leaving behind a legacy of unwavering dedication to fostering unity and leadership among Nigerian youths.
Under his tenure, YOWICAN experienced a resurgence in impactful initiatives aimed at equipping young Christians as leaders and agents of change.
Dr. Adze’s visionary leadership and deep faith left an indelible mark on CAN and the broader Christian community.
Archbishop Daniel Okoh, President of CAN, described Dr. Adze as “a mentor, friend, and trailblazer whose contributions cannot be overstated.”
Okoh urged CAN members to honor Adze’s legacy by continuing his mission of empowering young Christians.
The association has called for prayers and support for Dr. Adze’s family during this period of profound grief, while reaffirming their commitment to preserving his vision.
Dr. Adze’s death marks the loss of a leader whose impact will continue to inspire generations of Nigerian youth.
