The 2024 Abuja International Carnival concluded with a spectacular display of Nigerian culture, as the Rivers troupe emerged victorious, clinching the coveted title.
Competing against 35 other states and the Federal Capital Territory, Rivers dazzled the judges to secure the top spot.
Borno and Yobe troupes impressed as well, taking the first and second runner-up positions.
Bauchi and Abia troupes rounded out the top five, showcasing their unique cultural performances.
Special awards were also presented during the vibrant closing ceremony at Eagles Square, with Yobe winning Best in Durbar and Delta honored for Best in Masquerade.
This year’s carnival, a celebration of Nigeria’s diverse heritage, brought together color, music, and tradition, leaving attendees eagerly anticipating next year’s event.
